The Scissors’ debut album was recorded at the band’s rehearsal space over two days in mid November 2009, using Chris Pepper’s mobile studio gear. Most songs were done in just a few takes, with some doubling-up of the main guitar and vocal parts. A couple of overdubs were done later at Chris’ studio, including Toby’s backwards guitar solo on ‘Lucy for London’ and dub effects on ‘Over and out’.
